Flat & Gusset Bags

Flat and Gusset bags are your ‘basic’ plastic bags.  Ours are made from virgin polyethylene, meet FDA requirements for food applications and meet LP-378 requirements.  We have an incredible selection of sizes and gauges to meet any need you might have.  They are bottom sealed for extra strength and can be heat sealed to provide security and to retain freshness.  All of our bags are available for next day delivery. 

Dimensions listed are for the interior usable portion of the bag.  We have listed flat bags according to density, from small to large.  Density is the thickness of the plastic, measured in mils. (1000’s of an inch), so the plastic used for a 2 mil. bag is .002” thick and the plastic used for a 6 mil. bag is .006” thick.  In addition, we offer a line of bags that are made from a unique blend of linear low density (LLD) resin, which allows bags to be made of a thinner gauge (mil. thickness) while providing the same or better strength and puncture resistance as a standard low density bag of a higher gauge.  These use less plastic in their manufacturing, so they are less expensive.  We call these Tuf-R bags:

Tuf-R Standard Flat Bags can replace .0015 and .002 low density flat bags.

Tuf-R Heavy Duty Flat Bags can replace .003 & .004 low density flat bags.

Tuf-R Standard Gusset Bags can replace .001 & .00125 gusset bags.

Tuf-R Heavy Duty Gusset Bags can replace .0015 & .002 gusset bags.
